I bought my Sony Xperia S in April. From the very first day I found that my phone used to hang even without a lot of apps. But i was so much in love with my phone that i actually neglected that problem. Recently I have find my phone freezing very often. Even though it boasts a 12MP camera i find it not impressive especially during nights. Today all of a sudden my earpiece went off. On visiting a store i found out that the earpiece was dead and have asked me to come tomorrow to get the earpiece replaced. I feel i have a defected phone here. I'm worried about this as I previously had a Sony Ericson W610i which had a problem with its keypad. I got the keypad replaced immediately and since then I had a lot of problems with the phone. I dont want the same to happen with my Xperia S. I have very high regards for Sony and all its products and I want it to remain that way. I would prefer to have my phone replaced for a new phone of same color and model. Thank You..:)

this is not quite the place to ask this question but usually if fixing the phone its too expensive a replacement it's issued by each country has it's own rules, contact customer service

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Don't forget to mark the Correct Answers & Helpful Answers

Ok. I'am from germany and had an factory defected device. In germany the law gives you a choice in this case between replace and repair the defect part. Unfortunately I don't know about internation rights or the laws in India...

Before I got my xperia s replaced I talked to Sony Customer Service and the told me, that they are only able to repair and I had to talk to my retailer. And voila! My retailer ( a onlineshop called mindfactory.de in germany ) replaced my phone!

But maybe the Sony Customer Service in India is more accomodating...

I hope you get what you want! Good Luck
