how do i transfer files form my computer to my xperia u.
i have downloaded some apps on my computer now how do i send it to my mobile plzz helppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smileycry:

Just connect your mobile to PC and send those apps to your mobile,

Now using any app installer and file manager install those apps

and yeah go to settings > security > mark Unkwown sources before installing the apps

sir im useing windows XP when i connected it earlier i installed PC companion and i used file manager only 1 window popped up in which i cant paste my application plz help sir!

it doesnt have mass storage or something like that so i can paste in..

ya, it doesn't connect to pc as a mass storage device but it connects as portable media player using mtp connection.

you said a window popped up, it must be showing the device. you can't just copy to the popped up window, open internal storage and copy to a folder, they will be copied.

does it need seperate cable or charger cable can be used and does it work on windows XP?

i think there are some problems connecting especially with pc's having xp. There are already some threads on this issue. search for it you might find answers.
