Help on downgrade Xperia arc S to official GB 2.3.4

Hi,

I've just upgraded my Xperia arc S to ICS 4.0.4, but i've got serious problem with Wifi connection, and my phone crashed very often and not stable. I followed many adivces on reparing with SUS, but it doesn't work.

Now i'd like to downgrade to my original firmware (i think Android 2.3.4). Please help me on this.

There are 2 stes to downgrade

1) Official - Handing in the Xperia at Sony Service center You can request to have 2.3 installed on your phone ( warranty would remain )

2) Unofficial- Flash Gingerbread using Flashtool (your warranty would get void)

Here is how

Remember flashing may void your warranty and you are doing it at your own risk

There is a big table for firmwares

You can downgrade to any build

4.0.2.a.0.62 is latest Gingerbread firmware

You can download any of the following

I didnt found the android GB 2.3.4 frameware for arc S (Lt18) in the table of framewares.

Please could you advise from where i can get it.

I tried GB and ICS on my ARC s .. I dunno why you people want to downgrade.. GB is ugly as he/ll!! I prefer ICS!! Even if it's buggy.. They'll sort it out eventually.. Let me see you then trying to upgrade again and uliwooly or other moderators here, guiding you to the page where there is a tutorial to do so!
