Battery and Lag Issues

Since I bought this phone i've been experiencing lag issues when I switch from an application to the home screen. I takes about 30 seconds for the home screen to load up with all the widgets and applications. Only recently I've been experiencing battery issues. I keep everything turned off when I don't use my phone but when I start using the phone the battery level starts to drop rapidly. 10% of my battery disappears in about 20 minutes. Can somone please help me on this?

My phone also won't recognise my xperia smart tags so I can't edit them. I think I reset their formatting, is there any way to fix this?

I would suggest this, repair your phone with SUS or PCC

do NOT install any app > uninstall mcafee > test your phone and see if there's any lag, there shouldn't

I see you switch off the phone. Here is the thing, check your battery percentage, switch off the phone and switch it on again. Check the battery percentage now. One thing I have noticed is, after you do this, the phone shows more battery percentage after rebooting it. But eventually it goes back to the normal percentage as before and hence you feel it drops drastically.

uliwooly, I tried repair it in Sony Pc Companion but there was no available software update so it didn't repair it. Prady, I don't switch off my phone when I don't use it, I switch off wifi, brightness etc.

Last night I left my phone at 70% battery and I woke up this morning to find it at 60% when I hadn't touched it

That a phone drops about 10% in capacity during a nights sleep doesn't have to mean there's something wrong. I guess you sleep for about 6-8 hours and when the phone is connected to the mobile network it does use the battery more then you might think it does.

You should though be able to repair your phone even if you have the latest version of software installed in your phone. Start PCC without the phone connected and follow the instructions in Support Zone for an update and the option for repairing the phone should appear.

yea... Dakshadow.. this is happening ... same thing.... Until SONY release the next firmware version

we have to keep our phone on our Store room....

I hope SONY will solve this problems within a week.... But they won't i know.. cuz the last firmware

were realsed not so many days ago.. So we may have to wait more than a month i gues.. or more >>>

Sony xperia 2012 GB is vary lagy...in scrolling and some times lag well...

this lag isshe will remove in ics update...i hope So:smileylaugh:

i dont know about battery issues because i have no issue about battery of xperia sola....

turn off facebook insilde experia and off 3g and mobile date if u r not using..

you must clear ram time by time...it increases battery life...

Go settings

Also uninstall Macefee antivirus...

Repiar function in sony pc campanion not working now because Sony removed bugy update that was 6.0.b.3.162, and this function will work in August late... .177 or .171 coming in August...i dont know which date...

No one answered my questions about the NFC Smart Tags. They won't show up in my widget on the home screen anymore because I think i reset their formatting. Can anyone help with this? Can I re-format them in any way?

please help me! My xperia sola has been lagged for 7 hrs! I can't restart my phone.. the only last thing i did was browsing instagram while it was connected in my laptop via usb port.. PLEASE HELP ME

What do you mean lagged ? The display froze ?

unplug the phone, then hold power + volume down" The sola will vibrate once ; wait some more, the sola will vibrate 3 times and switch off. Then just restart the phone.

yes i think so.. the screen has blacked out.. and no matter i hold the power it doesn't vibrate.. i did what you suggested but it didn't work..
