SONY had just said that the statement by their UK Spokeperson was an ERROR. They still not yet confirmed which devices would get JellyBean update... They are actively investigating the OS Upgrades on all older devices( 2011 xperias ).

Hope they come up with a postive OS upgrade. i.e JellyBean for 2011 Xperias.

Don't be so happy because Sony still didin't do any good job! They didn't say that 2011 Xperias will get it... they just said that the information form the last week was incorect and they're still testing JB on all devices that doesn't mean that we are getting the update! They still can say NO to us. So wait untill the final word!

My thought is: If Nexus S can run it, an almost 2-year-old with the similar specifications as most of the 2011 Xperias, why wouldn't they be able to run it?

Hopefully the Xperia 2011 might get their upgrades. However, I think it is not certain thing right now. SONY Mobile is still investigating about this. But, I think that the message should have mistake to make Sony apologise about it.
