Coonect to PC (Upgrade issue)

hi guys...
i have a problem with upgarding my firmware..
i try with pc companion and sony upgrade service as well...
but the problem both of them is...
I stuck/trouble with these step "prepare the phone for update"

by switching it off, removing the USB cable and when reconnecting the USB to the computer and phone, hold down the volume down button on my phone.

i give a try those step a couple of times...but..

i STILL only get these:

1. first my LED (on top) is light RED...and illumination bar below light GREEN but half of them (Only the left side is on, but when i turn on my phone and test my illumination bar is fine, so i assume that only happen when i try "prepare the phone for update" step..

2. sony logo is show

3 my phone start charging..BATTERY SYMBOL SHOWN ON THE CENTER..and LED (on top) is GREEN

can u guys give me some advice??

these problem really annoying me.

DONT WORRY DUDE!! We are there for u!

Even i experienced the same problem!!

However gotta know the trick of it..

1) Restart the system.

2)dont shut down the phone untill u have the SUS opened up and till u get the connect page.

3)Doint wait for more than a minute after shutting it down,(Time it for 40 seconds).

4)Also conect the micro-usb to phone witht the usb connected to the computer and not the other way round

hi guys...
i come back with SOLUTION...
after trial and error sometimes...
THERE IS SIMPLE but WORKING SOLUTION..

just restart your computer and enter the safe mode with networking...
then run SONY UPGRADE SERVICES...
follow the instructions...
and your phone will recognize by the computer...the progress will begin...
