I adjust the screen brightness via Settings to e.g. 75% (slider). The phone responds correctly.</P><P>2. I use the Application widget to switch off the Backlight. The phone responds correctly (turns darker).</P><P>3. I switch on the backlight. Then something unexpectedly happens: the screen brightness turns to maximum.</P><P></P><P>Using the Automatic checkbox along with the screen brightness slider does not change the situation.</P><P></P><P>I believe the phone should remember the screen brightness setting?
