House Wi-Fi Problem

hii... i brought xperia P but my mobile can't see house network when i sharing internet by my laptop and he( Xperia p) see another network just my mobile can't see" and other mobile and pc see same network and connecting .

request other help while connecting my phone to computer by Sony pc companion there 5 steps to finish update but i can't understand step 5 ( press and hold volume down key on the phone while plugging the usb cable into your phone ) when i press the volume down must turn on or off phone and screen lock or unlock ??? and press once 1 or a number times continuous or put finger constantly for a few seconds on volume down??

In regards to the first question, the laptop is acting as an ADHOC connection which the phone will not see unfortunately. For the second question, the phone must be turned off during this process.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I have the same problem. My xperia does not recognize my wifi signal.
