Birthday reminders

Earlier I was using Sone Ericsson Naite and there was option to add the birthday details on contacts which was integrated with Calendar that remind me friends birthday's.

Now I bought Xperia P which is very nice phone for me and all the featureps are superb. But there is no option to add birthday details on contacts and I need to add this into calendar manually. Guyz, do you have any solution on this?

Sony will add this feature in upcoming release?

Unfortunately the handset does not provide the feature within the contacts section, this can only be done within the calendar as you have stated.

In regards to future updates for this feature, I am unable to advise if this will be included in the future.

Sony better to think to add this feature on Xperia P on ICS update which is very useful and goor UI to set the reminder event alert for friends birthday and more events.
