ICS 4.0 how upgrade?

regarding the

Xperia™ S, SI numbers for ICS update

post...i found that my phone SI numbers is already released...it's 1257-1836...
but can tell me how to upgrade to ICS??

SUS always crashes when it tryes to synchronize with the server.

A lot of us have the same problem with PC-Companion.

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems that some users have problems to update their phones to ICS even if their SI number is in the list. We have located some issues and we're working on fixing them as soon as possible.

So if your SI number is listed for the ICS update but you still get the message saying that your phone is up-to-date stay calm we're working on it. We will come back with more info soon.

the antivirus and/or firewall on your phone

btw you don't need

antivirus

taskiller

battery apps on your phone

they will drain your battery faster and create issues such as network connectivity, crashing apps, etc etc

Same here. I have problems with both the PCC and the SUS. Tried everything but all have failed (re-installing PCC, updating Java, turning off firewall and antivirus).

Just be patient...

Sony just got some problems with their servers. May try it in about 3 hours or tomorrow, like i will do...

Search and read. not that hard. stop making new threads. and or posting non sense.

They are working on it.

Learn to read people! Technical problems doesnt get solved within a min or two. These are unexpected problems that arent part of the plan. If they can foresee the future then all the companies in the world can reach the top. Understand how the world works not everything works perfectly and flawlessly like how you wanted it to.

Give it some time. Why rush?

If you are Indian User I recomment that call to your nearest Sony service centre and ask them. If available then update in there office itself. No tension itself
