Cedar format memory card automatically on every startup!!!

Hello Sony...

I have cedar with IMEI 012611004279923 with following issues::

01 ) it format memory card (provieded by sony and other cards too) automatically on every startup!!! i lost my important data at needy time..

i had done all reinstallation...updation etc....

02 ) sony tiwtter app never allow login...its my challenge to sony to make login into tiwtter a/c via its app....for it i had done your ways of updation

03 ) Earphone are OFF...since its just 6 months...one earphone gets off...no warrant regester by sony care...they says its has 6 month warranty... I THINK SONY HAS STARTED WITH POOR RAW MATERIAL FOR MOB PHONE !!! may be low cost chainese materails........

04) OS software is not hardware friendly....get hanged many times...

yeah i already do so....also update via Internet...currently i am doing study of this issue

So why did you only have 6 months warranty? Normally you would get at least a year, and quite often two years from Sony/SE directly, independently of any warranty by the retailer or network.

I contact to Sony Care...they says its 6 month warranty for every earphone...it in India...but I really felt bad with sony care...

So in India you get a 1 year warranty for the phone and 6 months for the accessories that come with it?

If that's the case, that sounds normal.

very bad .....sony care....!! but before i have w200i ...it was 1yr!!

sony care excutives are dynamic persons...one say its 6 months..another say 1 yr...well but SONY never say correct...they change their policies according to issue....Well what you say about 01,02 issue in my topic.............

Well no 1 issue is more serious, but have you tried formatting these cards on PC (using a USB card reader) in FAT 32 mode, before using them in the phone? If that doesn't work either, and since you've tried both a software update/re-instalation and a reset to no avail, then you need to to send it in for repair, as it should be at least a 1 year warranty for the phone itself, as you can see from this warranty document, taken from India's Sony site for the Cedar:

it will be better if Sony Executive from India will see it now....

for 01 issue

i have a conclusion that

if i do downloads from internet over memory card...so it gets format when i do switch on to phone...but if i download over phone memory..it remains unformate.......:smileyshocked:

I don't understand what you're trying to say--all I can suggest is that you have it repaired under the 1 year warranty.

i m saying on 01) issue...

If i use Internet via Cedar and do downloading on memory card..then it get auto format..and if on phone memory then it do not get auto format!!!

Then it sounds like a problem with the memory card, although that's by no means certain.As I said before, you need to format the memory card on the PC using a USB card reader, and then see if this still happens.Obviously, this implies that any memory card you use is also genuine and obtained from a trusted source.

You could also test these memory cards in another phone and see if they behave in the same way.

no no i dont get any solution....i have 3 memory cards...all have same issue...Cedar is unable to save download data into them means get auto format....please solve it....!!!

only cedar show this issue..not other phones.........

Then it's a problem with the phone, and since you have tried a software re-installation/repair/update/reset/memory card format to no avail, then use your 1 year warranty to get the phone repaired in a service centre.

there is no one form sony that solve it...and no one can LOGIN VIA TIWTTER APP in Cedar
