I am facing a similiar problem, whenever i hang up a call or a call is finished (incoming or outgoing) the network goes off for around 20-30 seconds and the phone becomes not reachable.

In Adition to that it takes a long time for a call to get through..

Also sometimes when you dial a number it shows connecting even after the call is connected.

In Adition to that the BAR(Where XPERIA is embossed) at the bottom of the phone is not stable, it doesnt seems to be properly fixed to the body.

Any suggestions for the network problem as it is very hard to live with this problem as you cannot make any call after hanging up the phone, and it frustates you when you have to make an urgent call.

Please help.

I bought my Xperia P in the month of July... It came bundled with B.1.564. I had the issue of network dropping completely sometimes which was only fixed after rebooting the phone. This happened twice or thrice a day. Then I upgraded my phone to the B.3.184 patch which fixed the network issue.

On 21st August, I upgraded my phone to ICS. Since then I have similar issues as reported in this thread. As soon as a call gets disconnected, the network drops to zero for 15-20 seconds after which it is back up. This is really annoying if someone is trying to reach you or if you want to make back-to-back calls.

Any help is much appreciated.

PS: I am using a regular SIM that was cut to micro-SIM size. But this issue was not there before the upgrade to ICS.
