xperia GO sd card

Hi guys, I trying to load a video from phone to computer from SD card, thing is i have tried everything i know of moved all things to computer after spending 5 mins trying to take the SD card out of phone, even the repairing thing but still no luck. only had the phone 24 hours so cant of damaged anything. any advice please guys?

On your phone > settings > xperia > connectivity > MSC

connect your phone to your computer > drag down the notification bar > mount SD card

sorry but either im being thick or something else is stopping my sd card being read by the pc. its still not doing it, i have tried serveal times time i thought it worked but it didnt

I spoke to sony and they are saying it my computer and cant help me i have 2 days to fix this or im sending it back and getting a samsung

its sounds like you are blaming the phone because your computer cannot read your sd card???

my s2 worked fine with pc. sd card and pc wont i have no idea how to get them to work. if my s2 worked well how come this wont?

lets walk this through. you have pluged in the usb from phone to computer and selected the mount option?

or have you taken the sd out of the phone and inserted it into the computer?

it says ticked on MSC then in notification internal storage connected and connected to pc then sd card connected also says disconnect sd card. when usb is connected to pc i can access internal storage fine just not the sd card

If you want to access SD card from both pc and phone at the same time us Media transfer mode (MTP) If only access from pc then Mass storage mode (MSC).
Dont blame brand if you havent mastered to use it yet. On first time i also struggled when somehow it was switched to MSC but 5-10 mins of searching made it clear for me.
Edit: BTW once my pc didnt connect to sd card also in any of the modes, phone restart fixed that.

Amazingly, the Russian version of this phone model are exactly the same problem.

It isnt my fault that after following sonys advice it still didnt work. now it works after me resetting the phone a few times

The german too... You can't read or write the SD card directly from the PC. And yes, the MSC is on an the phone says "SD card connected"... I tried it several times in several ways on several PCs. In other phones the card works properly. I hope the next update will fix it up.

I get same problem that the damaged sd card.

I have follow your instruction but i'm confious in MSC (On your phone > settings > xperia > connectivity > MSC)?

On my phone until connectivity part, there are install PC companion, USB connection mode, trusted Devices. Then where is MSC?
