Does battery for models available in U.S differs from Indian Models?

I hear lot of sony ppl talking over internet that, their phones battery lasts up to 2-3 days...

I bought this phone in India and it is made in China. My battery does not even go beyond 6hrs. I'm not much of a gamer.

I start using my phone @ 7am (usually 100% charged) and by 12-1 noon, battery comes to 10-15%

All I do is listen to music like for 20-30mins while I'm in bus. Thats it, or may be couple of phone calls in between.

All those wifi, bluetooth, gps, gprs etc are switched off. Brightness at auto mode in power save option.

if I use GPRS over my phone then it wont last for 3hrs. also phone gets heated up. is this only for Indian models?

"models" here are reffered as phone models 😉

Hi prateek,

I'm from India too and my XP lasts more than 2 days, It used to be like urs in the initial days, but when I changed my usage scenario it's battery life has significantly improved, follow these steps, hope it helps

1) Turn off Data Traffic (turn on when required)

2) Turn off Background Data Traffic (In Accounts and Sync)

3) Turn off Wi-Fi (turn on when required)

4) Turn off GPS

5) Change your mobile network mode to "GSM Only" (turn on WCDMA/GSM when 3G required)

6) Set brightness to Auto (Powe saver mode)

7) Set screen timeout to 15 seconds

😎 Uninstall unnecessary apps (esp task killer aps)
