problem with application Music

Hello everyone

when I enter application music and want to go to Track part a massage appears and say:"Sorry! The application Music(processcom.sonyericsson.music) has stopped unexpectly. Please try again. " and there is a button at the end of massage :"Force close"

what should I do to solve the problem ?

(I have xperia neo v)

I would advise running a software update:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connectionn steps

but I can't connet my phone to computer via media transfer mode

If you follow specifically the method above this will be done with the phone turned off so this shouldn’t be a problem.

but when I try to do 10th step I've got an error "unable to install or start phone software update compnents " what should I do?
