Hello.!

I upgraded my xperia pro from Gingerbread to Android 4.0.4 ICS, Build number 4.1.B.0.431 on June 11 and I liked it.

The ics update has placed a new "Gallery" wherein the images taken on my cam are not downgraded unlike with the xperia gallery. But after some time, when i already have a lot of photos in the Gallery, the thumbnails shown are not correct. I mean the images shown when I view the images as thumbnails are different from the actual image when i click it. How can i fix it?

I also encounter problems regarding video playback. I know that the xperia pro can only support .mp4 video formats. But there are a lot of movie players in the android market which allows me to watch any video format i'd like to (ie. MX player)...after the ICS update, i installed the player and it runs as expected and i could watch any movie. But whenever I try to navigate through the movie like change the time/position it won't just allow me, it goes back to the start. I even tried to install the MX player ARMv7 NEON but it's still not working...even tried other two players. I think the update messed up my entertainment in the xperia pro. now I can't watch a movie, pause it, do something else, and resume my movie. Please help me with this. Thanks a lot and Godbless.

you have 2 ways to downgrade

1) take it to a sony repair center

2) manually downgrade your phone

First format your memory card and then repair you phone with SUS.

If possible use class 10 microSD card.

Now try, if no success then proceed for downgrade.

i formatted my memory card a few days ago.

Now i'm trying the SUS.

and how do I know what class my microSD card is?

remove the SD card from your phone and you should be able to see a circle with a number inside

I don't know what the class is yet. I can't remove the microSD card now because i'm updating it with the SUS.

I'm using the 8 gb microSD card that comes with the phone when I bought it.

Do you think using class 10 card would fix it?

I just copy the movies and then paste it to a folder on my phone's memory card. I don't use the Media Go in PCC since it tries to convert the movie to mp4 format and it takes too long to finish

yeah it takes too long but it makes it more stable, you can use (on your PC) formatfactory and change the format

not few days ago you have to format memory card before repair with SUS.

You can check your memory card class on you card it self as told by uliwooly.

Also you can check speed of your cad by software SD speed test available in Google play for free.

the write speed in MBPS is your class i.e. if write speed is 4.1 MB/S class should be 4.

I'm done reupdating it to ICS. it's the 2nd time i installed the ICS on it. Still, the video is going back to the starting position.

I downloaded the formatfactory and will try it later.

I'll try to remove the movie from my phone and put it again without being converted.

i'll format it next sunday since i have to go to school until saturday, sunday is my only free time.

I hope my phone won't crash. I installed the ICS twice already. I hope it would work for the third time.

What are the other things you can suggest before fixing it with SUS?

I fixed it a while ago and the movie won't start at all.
