Wifi/Bluetooth Tethering on ICS with Xperia Arc

Apologies first about this post. I know this subject has been discussed at length on other posts but I'm sure I've actually seen an answer to the question, so I feel I need to post the question again and this issue is quite frustrating.

Since upgrading to ICS (Android version 4.0.4) on my LT15i I have not been able to Wifi/Bluetooth Tethering. I've followed the advice of various posts and changed APN settings but it has made no difference. My Arc is a contract phone from Vodafone UK, tethering did previously work. I actually want to tether my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Android tablet and not a PC, so PDANet etc won't work for me.

If tethering on Android 4.0.4 has been confirmed to work on the LT15i, I suspect my issue is with my ROM. I flashed my phone a while back to a pre-release of ICS, not a Vodafone ROM, but got the official ICS ROM through the official Update Service a few weeks back.

So, can someone confirm that the Arc can do wifi tethering on Android 4.0.4, if so which ROM should I be using? If not, does anyone know is Sony are fixing the issue?

Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed not to see any replies, does it mean it's only me who's suffering this issue???

How about another question, anyone got a LT15i Vodafone ROM for Gingerbread? I'm thinking the only way to get this working for me is going back to what worked before.
