Hello there.. I am living in Mumbai, India.. I just recently met with an accident and my Xperia S got caught up in the process.

The phone fell from a great height and fell on the front. Fortunately, the phone works perfectly fine except one big issue, the screen is in pieces.. The touch works fine but the display inside has shattered to shards.. I connected it to the HDMI on my TV and the phone responds perfectly. Everything is working fine, even the touch.. Anyway, I went to Sony Service center around and the person there told me that the phone will be sent to the main offices in Chennai and they will investigate it and send me an estimate. My questions are : 1. Is there another quicker way I can fix this? 2. How much should the display cost?
Every place I went to, said the same thing.. That the spares of this phone have not come down to India yet which I believe, is complete bullshit..

I tried at other third party retailers and they have given me a figure that ranges from INR 4000 (USD 75~) - 18000 (USD 340~). Now that's a weird scale.. Anyway, if someone who has dealt with the spares with the new Xperia 2012 range before, please let me know.

Thanks a lot
