UPDATE: From your comments, I have tried downgrading to 4.0.3 and update OTA. It doesn't seem to work. Therefore please update your Xperia the old-fashioned way: PC Companion/ Sony Ericsson Update Service.

Hi all,

Today I have just got the anticipated ICS 4.0.4, aka 4.1.B.0.431 in Singapore

I'm not alone either. (India has also gotten the update)

Please check the SI numbers located in the forum. However, you might get this:

Therefore, instead of using the PC Companion OR The Sony Ericsson Update Service, I'd like to suggest using the preinstalled Update Service in your Xperia. Of course, you will get the followig:

Refresh the application (Options>Refresh)

You should find the update under System.

Click it to download the 20MB update and install.

Note: I have been receiving some problems about the update from other users, so I suggest that you try this:

Unroot your phone (Go to PCC>Update SW>Repair phone)

Switch to WiFi (3G is unstable)

If all else fails, search for the 4.0.4 XDA-based rom for Neo V. You'll need to root and unlock bootloader first.

WARNING: XDA's rom is a bit unstable too, so it is recommended that you wait.

thanks for the information....ll try to repair even though its not rooted... but so unlucky am tat i don hv wifi here...:smileycry:

4.0.4 is an improvement update over 4.0.3 and it really makes a difference, just noticed that wifi connects lot faster than it was in 4.0.3.

video lag still persists ... and phone cant be repaired using pcc after the update .. pcc says it doesnt have the software needed for the phone ... am i th e only one with this problem ?

its better ... the lag is there only during Night mode from what i tested ..

im talking about HD recording ... it still lags ... doesnt it happen with yours ? and i havnt yet tried the night mode ...

Suggest:

Downgrade to GB using flashtool, repair n upgrade to ICS, then OTA to 4.0.4

My Si number is on list and i m from india

i also try refresh update centre via wifi...

i also try flash 4.0.3 with flash tool

but not getting update...Why???
