HELP-C905 mic problem.

I have a C905 which has a mysterious problem.

One evening I use the phone and take a call as normal.

Next day someone rings me, they can NOT hear me but I can hear them.

I then discover the microphone is only live when in loud speaker mode, it is not a faulty mic as I can speak using it on speakerphone and make recordings.

I have done factory reset, had it to a repair guy who reinstalled all the software and replaced the 'ribbon cable' but the problem remains.

Is there a secret 'mute' button that I have missed, is this a button/switch fault, we are totally perplexed, can anyone PLEASE HELP??

mine has done the same thing twice now, the first time i had to send it back to be repaired, and my replacement phone has just done the same thing! i don't know what it is either, but it's really annoying, i've resorted to using a handsfree.

I eventually got this sorted, phone was away 4 weeks.

Ribbon cable inside had developed a fault, cost £25 for repair.
