K750i support for unlocking

Hi All,

I'm having an old and fentastic mobile k750i and recently heared that sony stoped support for the same.

I Tried installing an app called mGaurd for my k750i to protect my phone by theft and that simple software can send sms to pre desired nos on the time of change of SIM card. But the sad part is its asking the unlock code for my mobile and asked me to search in web with IMEI no so can get unlock code.

I have purchased my phone as stand alone and NOT with any contract with any mobile operators.

I checked my phone by pressing <**< and got the personalize page. All are opened lock and no lock symbol in network which means my phone is already unlocked to use any network.

But the thing is the mGaurd askin for the unlock code and do no where to find it with IMEI no.

Please help to find the unlock code for k750i and /or help to suggest a software to protect my phone like sending SMS on a sim chage like samsung mobile tracker.

I tried installinh roblock and its not working.

My IMEI no is : 35601801-******-8-09

Any help will be highly appriciated and I love my k750i that W8.

Is mGuard a paid application? It sounds to me like the program is asking for a key/unlock code to use the application itself.

Alternatively, you could try the default lock code of the phone (also a theft deterrent) which is 0000 (four zeroes).

I don't have a personal suggest for an app. of this type, but we like to recommend www.getjar.com for these java applications.

I got this java application from getjar.com only and the unlocking code is not for opening the applicatiopn but to activate to receive messages to a pre desired no its asking to enter unlock code and also suggesting to get the unique code by using the IMEI no in web.

you can get the unlock code for your sony ericsson k750i either from your service provider or from other online providers like Classicunlocking.com

http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Security/Utilities/mGuard-56271.shtml According to this website, you first need to register your phone's IMEI and an unlocking code to activate mGuard will then be provided.Therefore, this appears to be a code to activate the application only, not the phone lock code or network unlocking code.I suggest you go through the process of downloading and re-installing mGuard again, folowing all the instructions to obtain the code, either using the above link, or from this one (which also has a link for the complete documentation, which might be useful):

It doesn't appear to be available on Getjar any more.
