Hi, I noticed, in use of battery details, that there was a percentage of battery used by radio as an inactive device. I tried to stop the app by plugging headphones and switching it off, but the battery was still used by the radio. I disabled the radio in applications settings and now I can't find the radio app but the battery is still being used by radio as inactive device.

Can anybody help me? Thank you

The radio listed in battery use is not the FM radio. This is the network radio, the one keeping a connection with the network. If you manage to turn this off you're basically in flight mode with no contact to/from the phone available.

What do you think about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

Yes, I went to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > All , looked for Radio and there there were two buttons, I don't know how is the label in English, in Spanish is "Forzar Detención" and "Inhabilitar", in English might be something like "Stop" and "Disable". I pressed "Inhabilitar" and Radio dissapeared forever!

If you did tap on "Disable" it should still be in the list of apps. The disabled apps should all be at the bottom.

If it's not here you need to run a software repair to get it back. This is done with PC Companion. This will wipe the phone clean of user data so make sure to backup all data you wish to keep before doing this.

What do you think about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.
