Wifi Issues after upgrading to ICS 4.0.3

Dear Forum Members,

Recently I have upgraded my Xperia Neo V to ICS 4.0.3 from ginger bread 2.3.

I am facing issues with my wifi connectivity, I am getting signals and able to connect to a particular router, but not able to surf internet.

Is the problem persists with my mobile hardware or there is some issues dut to ICS 4.0. I was able to use wifi with ginger bread excellently.

I hope, somebody can help me out to resolve this issue, my phone is not rooted as it is still under warranty.

it might be solved once 4.0.4 is released sometime this week

Now, we are happy to confirm that the remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will start to receive their updates starting from next week.

This software upgrade will be Android version 4.0.4 and the good news is that this latest version will also be made available for Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users, who received Android 4.0.3 the first time around.

Today I have updated my Neo V with ICS 4.0.4

But wifi issues were same as before with ICS 4.0.3.

Then I reset by phone to factory settings, erasing my all previous data.

That really worked out for me, now I am able to use wifi.

Users having problems with WiFi usage with ICS 4.0.4 shall try this solution once.

I did the upgrade to ICS today, with my Xperia pro. Same problem, refuses to send data over Wifi.

Edit: Using ICS 4.0.4

Edit: Now I've tried the Wifi with a different router, and that works. So it probably is some issue with DHCP-leases or so.

Update your Xperia Smartphone to ICS 4.0.4..You will have all bugs fixed.
