Xperia S loud speaker problem

I bought S around 10 days ago and today i started having problem in its loud speker.

Lots of jerk in the audio from loudspeaker, ringtone, audio / video played through loudspeaker have these jerks. Audio is barely audible. All you here is glitches and jerks

Not sure if it is hardware of software issue, but 1st time i restarted my phone problem got solved. After few hours the same issue repeated and not solving even after 3 restarts.

Kindly suggest.

Dial *#*#7378423#*#* in dialer and tap on service tests> speaker > see if you hear the same noise or not

if not then do the following

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

getting the same jerked audio in speaker and stereo speaker tests. Does that mean it is a hardware problem ??

repaired your phone with either SUS or PCC (check links above) and test your phone again

Don't forget to backup your phone

Service center guys are likely to start with software repair anyhow

So its better to do yourself, chances are there that the problem may vanish

I'm getting the same issue with my Xperia s, the loudspeaker is not working.

I installed the PC Companion but when i try to repair my phone i got the following error message:

"Server is currently not accessible" also when i try the option "repair phone" i got Application could not be installed.

Can anyone help please.

I did the SUS procedure, but the LoudSpeaker is always not working.

It Could be some Hardware issue then???

i have the same problem

i go to service center now after 10 days until now they say we wait the spare part

I'm a fan of Sony

But this is the worst service maintenance

10 days waiting spare part (this is not my problem)

I want a solution

I have the same problem on my Xperia S and it come with an error aswell saying that the device's microphone and buttons are not available.

I tried reinstalling the software, reparing via PC Companion but nothing...it is a problem ith the mother board and we cant touch it.

Did any of you solved this problem?
