Facebook birthdays sync.

Hey Guys

I've owned my Xperia S now for about a month and I found it very handy that, upon my first log-in to Facebook, the phone automatically imported all birthdays of my facebook contacts to my telephone contacts and the calendar. However, for some strange reason, my Facebook-App changed all of it's settings back to default about two days ago. That wouldn't have bothered me much, but I also realized that all of the birthdays vanished from my calendar and the contact lists and I can't find a way to import them without installing complicated thrid party apps. How can it be that the phone imported all the birthdays automatically when I got it, but doesn't offer an option to manually import them? Or did I miss any helpful settings regarding this problem?

Check the sync settings for Facebook.

Menu > Settings > Accounts & sync > Facebook inside Xperia > Calendar > Untick it and tick it again.

This should sync your Facebook calendar manually.

If you still don't see your Facebook birthdays check if you have filtered them in the calendar app.
