Gallery Malfunction after ICS update

I'm experiencing gallery malfunctioning (not xperia gallery) after the ICS update to my Xperia Neo V. I tap a photo to open it in big screen but some other photo gets opened despite the particular one I wanted to open. What to do?

Try clearing its data
settings > app > android gallery > clear data

If that doesn't help then perform a software repair as it could be due to improper installation

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)
