unable to access market

When I press the market icon (white bag with green robot), a white page is shown and says "loading". after 10 seconds, the page is automatically closed and I see the menu page (where app icons are shown). What is the problem? android is come from factory 2.3.4. I have not updated

USA USA jk, go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> market/play store -> clear cache, and clear all the options available.

do you have a gmail or googlemail?

perfect now open the market -> menu -> my apps -> wait couple of minutes and you will get updates.

use Update Service (SUS) instead of factory reset (SUS will not just do a factory reset but fix any issues with your sotware)
