PROBLEM USING PC CONNECT SOFTWARE

When trying to using the pc connect software on my computer to repair my phone it says i must first shut down windowsinit but when i try that it shuts my computer down. please help!!

You could try uninstalling the PC Companion software and reinstalling it on your PC or maybe download Sony Ericsson Update Service instead, this link is for an Aino but ignore that and select your model when running the programme.

Please try as suze recommends and if this fails you may need to boot the PC into safe mode then running again. (hit F* during the booting of PC to enter safe mode.)
