I think this issue is related to Wi-Fi profiles.

The best way to test this is to disable the security on your router and pair it up again.

I would also advise that you download the following and use the repair option within:

http://bit.ly/q7VJsh

Let me know how you get on.

WiFi Issues - Help Needed Please?

Hello everyone,

Had an Xperia X10i, which broke and was replaced by the Xperia Play. I have been unable to connect to my home WiFi since I got the phone mid September 2011. I have connected the phone to free public WiFi. And when I did this the phone alerted me to the public WiFi. I accepted to connect. It tells me it is connecting to the said network and then connects. And when I get close to these hotspots the phone will connect automatically to these networks. At home I open WiFi settings, I see my home WiFi is top of the list. I click on it and tells me the signal is excellent. I click to connect and although connecting may start, the name of my WiFi is never mentioned, and then phone disconnects within a few seconds. It's like my home WiFi is invisible. I tried resetting the phone to factory settings and starting again. I have also tried deleting my home WiFi and then reconnect but to no avail. I have even emailed Sony Ericsson and the reply got me stuck as they told me to see the ip address of my WiFi connection connection, but I have found no setting to find this out. I would really appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks in advance.
