    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The other option which I can think of is to repair it by local mobile repair shop, they should easily get hold of a replacement touch screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Having said that, it will be good to be sure that it is indeed a faulty touch screen which an experienced repair technician can access and evaluate that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Vivaz Pro touchscreen not working</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Few days back my Vivaz Pro's touch screen stopped working. Everytime I have to open the slider and use the keyboard to use the options. But all options cannot be operated using keyboard.As per touch screen troubleshooting guidelines, i cleaned the display using a soft tissue. I have even updated the latest software on my phone. But still, the touch screen not working.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Can anyone help how to resolve this issue without submitting the phone at SE Service Center? I had a bitter experience in the past. Within 8 months of purchase of this phone, my phone got a problem with "FLEX". I purchased it on 15-Jun-2010. Since my phone was in warranty period, so I decided to submitted it at Authorized SE Service Center. But after a month when I tried to follow up with these guys, they said that they don't have Flex in their stock so, I have to wait for another few months. I took back my phone from these guys and then I found the way out to resolve the problem by using a bluetooth headset.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; color: #333333;"&gt;I am sure that SE Service Centre are useless, there are hundreds of complaints against them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; color: #333333;"&gt;Is there any other option available? Can I purchase the touch screen separately from SE Showroom and then it can be fitted by local mobile repairing guys?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; color: #333333;"&gt;Much appreciated if I get a good response from Moderator or other experienced guys.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

You may want to 'shop' around to check out for the price, both for the touch screen and the repair. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One other thing .... Is your phone still under warranty?
