When I woke up, I found my phone very hot. I wasn't sure if it was powered on but the unlock button and the screen do not respond so I decided to take the battery off for some time. When I placed it back and tried turning it on, NOTHING HAPPENED.

I noticed that the LED (green) would blink twice and very fast then it would be followed with a very short vibration. But the screen would be blank as black, no backlight or any display.

I tried charging the phone for several hours. Green LED light would appear for some minutes then it would disappear. After leaving it for some hours, the battery and the unit would heat up as if it was charging.

I tried connecting it to PC companion and it actually detects the phone. So I tried flashing the generic 2.1 OS. The flashing software said it was sucessful. But still same problem exists. NO DISPLAY. EVEN JUST BACKLIGHT.

I tried replacing the battery with a new one. No improvement.

I dont think it would be an LCD problem. I did not drop or pressed hard over my phone.

The weird thing about it is that whenever I charge it, the Green LED would appear INSTANTLY. Then would disapppear after some minutes. In normal daily instances when my phone is turned off and I would plug it in the charger, it would take about 5 seconds before the green LED to appear because the phone wait for the SE logo to appear.

Also, it never happened to me that the green LED would blink twice before the vibration.

PLEASE HELP. I AM DESPERATE.

Ok, something similar happened to my other phone last night, a X10 mini (internal battery), which I managed to revive it. I do not know how I did it exactly, but it should be one of these steps. I hope I remember all those steps ....

Phone dead, pressed ON/OFF button - dead.

Connected to charger for some time - dead.

Connected to charger, pressed ON/OFF button - dead.

Removed from charger, pressed and hold HOME button together with ON/OFF button - dead.

Pressed and hold both MENU and BACK together with ON/OFF button - dead.

Connected to charger, pressed and hold HOME button together with ON/OFF button - dead.

Connected to charger, pressed and hold both MENU and BACK together with ON/OFF button - dead.

Left phone connected to charger, came back after few minutes .... phone is back to life, I did not even have to press the ON/OFF button.

Hope the above helps. Good luck!
