    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Dear Sir/Ma'am,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I am fans of SONY products since childhood. We have been using SONY's products from almost all categories like TV, Mobile,sound systems, SLR, headphones and Mobiles. Sony Has developed lots of best in category products. Sony has worked hard to create this Brand Image and Brand Recognition.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I know SONY means excellence. But its really hard to accept that when we bought SONY Xperia XA 1. We have purchased SONY Xperia XA1 (XA1) from SONY Premier Retailer, Gokulpeth, Nagpur - 440010, on 18th May 2017, Delivery Memo : 727, IMEI # *personal info removed*, By the Name of Vina Sawarkar;. We were happy about our purchase. We got new 4G Simcard for New mobile.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Within a day or two we observed the we are not getting proper coverage on this mobile. and our customers started complaining that most of the time we are non reachable (We run a business in which network coverage is very crucial). then we stared comparing XA1 with my other mobile MOTO Z Play (Z Play). while we were getting full coverage on Z play, there wa just one or two bars on XA1, We took the Mobile to the Shop and explained them the issue. They asked us to go to Service center and get it checked by technicians. SO we went to Sai Systems, Abhyankar Nager, Nagpur - 440010, We met the technician and explained the issue,He did his tests for some time. He concluded that the issue is positive and we got the replacement from the store, on 23rd May 2017, witth IMEI # *personal info removed*&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;We really appreciated the efforts &amp;nbsp;taken by Mr. Praful, to rectify our issue. We took new piece and went back home. Again we observed the same issue. so we went to Store again on 26th May 2017. We were suggested to change the sim and check for few days. So we changed sim and observed for another 2 days. But issue was same. we took photographs to show Mr. Praful and went to store on 29th May 2017 again. this time they Asked us to go to Innovation Computers, Telephone Exchange Square, Nagpur - 440009. We met Mr. Rakesh there and explained the issue on 29th may 2017. He had words with his seniors and did some tests on our mobile. He was also asked to compare our XA1 with their's. It was Shocking that.both were having same coverage of same service provider. He tried it with another 3 service providers but result was same. then we compared our XA1, Service center XA1, Z Play on IDEA network,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;both XA1 had 1 bar vs Moto Z Play had full coverage. He asked us for two days so he can get some reply from his seniors.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;It concludes that XA 1 has network issue and we can not afford to have such mobile with us as I mentioned before our business is dependent on mobile. We have lost more than 1 lack of business with these 10 days.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;We request for refund of our money and restore the Brand , SONY. its been very exhausting process for us to go through.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I do respect SONY as they have provided us with lots of great products. I do not want to post this on social media and other medium. Its our Hubble request for refunds.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Upgraded from Sony aqua to xperia xa1 same sim card and the signal is not what I expected, doesn't even work most the time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;GPS on Google maps is all over the place and can't even use the sat nav&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Disappointed in Sony any one else had signal issues&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks for your reply, no I haven't tried my SIM card in someone else's device I've just put it back in my old Sony m4 aqua and is working fine. It's just the battery overheats and sometimes just dies but at least I can receive calls.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the guys from Sony support have said it sounds like I need to do a software repair and sent me instructions, it's just finding the time, I've only had the phone 3 days shouldn't really need to do that I think.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;all the network settings are on and set up, I reset them via settings yesterday in a hope to fix it but still made no difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how can a new phone that's just been turned on need repairing I don't like it any way what happened to the nano coating that made it waterp resistant and scratch resistant? Why would they go backwards with a newer model.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for bring this up, i have the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I now have the XA1 (Dual Sim) for 2 days, the network is one bar less always (Signal Strength -74 dBm 67 asu - LTE).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I put the sim back in my M4 Aqua Dual, it shows full network -All Bars (Signal Streangth -58dBm 82asu - LTE).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;people from Sony, please improve the Modem Baseband config.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

This is very poor. It is very poor on train or bus transport to the point of being unusable. I can obtain -76dBm if near a network mast. It's the phone I'm taking mine back for a refund&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here is instructions they sent me for repair&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dear Chris,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for contacting the Sony Xperia support centre.&lt;BR /&gt;We are sorry to hear of the issues that you are having with your Sony Xperia XA regarding the Mobile network signal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We would suggest firstly that you try to use your SIM card in a different phone as the SIM card itself might be defected which will affect the network's signal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the SIM card works properly in a different handset, we would recommend that you reset your Mobile Network Settings by following these steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.&lt;BR /&gt;Find and tap Settings &amp;gt; Backup &amp;amp; reset &amp;gt; Network settings reset.&lt;BR /&gt;Find and tap RESET SETTINGS.&lt;BR /&gt;If this reset doesn't help sort the network's signal issue, we would suggest that you try to perform a repair of the software using Xperia Companion.&lt;BR /&gt;If the issue is related to a problem with your software this will be repaired and your handset will work as intended.&lt;BR /&gt;To do this, you will need to install Xperia Companion from the Sony Xperia website,&lt;BR /&gt;the application is available for both OSX and Windows based systems. The bars do not indicate better reception if they are more. And the way you're holding your phone, the angle it's positioned at, and the surrounding will always affect the strength of the signal you receive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any problems while making or receiving calls? Do you SMS's arrive later than expected?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yeah may be right, i do not have making or receiving call problems but, but why into other phone using same network in same area too considering same positioning of mobile get xa1 less bars then other&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you want to compare you can go to your Settings -&amp;gt; About phone -&amp;gt; Status -&amp;gt; SIM status -&amp;gt; compare numbers in "Signal strength" field. You need also to compare 2 identical phones nearly at the same place and position, because every phone may have its internal antenna in a different place inside the phone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
