Problem with Alarm - Setting 24h mode

I have a problem with the alarm setting.
Although I activated the 24h mode in the general settings all PM alarms are shown in the 24h mode.
Does somebody have the same issue or an idea to solve it?

If you activated 24 hour mode. It will show alarms in 24 hour mode.
What's missing here?

Hi @G_B, welcome to our forum!

As @Viridis mentioned, if you set the phone to show 24-hour format all alarms will be shown in the same format.

If you for example set an alarm while the phone is in 12-hour mode (AM/PM) in the clock application to ring at 2.00 PM and you then switch back to 24-hour format the alarm time will change to 14.00.

You can not have 24-hour format enabled in the phone and have alarms shown as AM and PM.

I made auf typo in the post. All PM alarms are shown in the 12h mode.

Correct: if 12h mode, it shows 2pm; if 24h mode it shows 2 not 14 (after being saved, in all alarms screen; when setting it up it shows 14). On home screen and lock screen it shows correctly.

Now I understand what you mean and I was able to replicate this behaviour on an Xperia XA.

The alarm times are indeed shown in 12-hour format in the application even when the phone is set to 24-hour format.

Let's hope the fix won't come in march together with Nougat (and let's hope we won't receive the buggy 7.0)

I've set clock on h24

When I set alarm at 21h15 it validates but shows 9h15 on the list

Not gamebreaking
Just wanted to share this so maybe devs will read and fix it (didn't know where to post)

I am on 3.81 software version and I have the same problem. On higher versions it is fixed (that's what another user stated).

Hello,

I have an XA F3111 and have a same problem. The clock is set to display in 24h mode, but the alarm is displayed in 12h mode (AM/PM). Even on the alarm settings page it isn't displayed if the alarm is set on AM or PM. So, there is one alarm set to 9:00 and the next on 9:10, although the first is set on AM and the second on PM.

Is there any hope that this can/will be corected?

33.2,A.3.81 The last security update is from 2016. August the 1st.

And the update check (I've just checked) that the device is up to date.

BTW is there any 3rd party alarm app that recognizes the 24 hour mode?

On the next software version (4.70) it should get fixed (as another user said). When we will all get that, nobody knows. About another app, maybe somebody else can help (I am using the faulty stock one, as you do).

The bug is squashed. With the 33.2.A.4.70 update I've got yesterday the alarm is back on the 24-hour dispaly as it should in the first place. Problem solved.
