Wifi drop off during sleep

My wifi keeps turning off after 5-10 mins when the screen is turned off. This only started happening around 2 weeks ago.

These are my testing steps:

Turned off stamina mode(wifi cuts out during sleep)
Factory reset(wifi stays on during sleep)
Installed whatsapp & microsoft word and all the updates for the default apps(wifi cuts out during sleep)
Boot to safe mode(wifi stays on during sleep)

And yes my wifi is set to never sleep mode

I suspect it is due to one of the default Sony apps that come with the phone, would anyone advise me which 1s are the probable ones to disable?

Could you disable stamina mode and test it in >>> safe mode

Yes done that, wifi stays on & works fine.

I believe this is one of the various sony apps that recently got updated because I never had this issue right up to about 1-2 weeks ago. Any telling which 1 it is?

Are there ways I can paste a debug log or something because frankly it will be a shame to disable some of the apps as I use them quite alot, like the weather app and etc

Solved the problem with downloading the following app:

it's almost ridiculous that I will need a 3rd party app to fix an issue on a phone that is barely even 1 month old, with the non responsive sony tech support.

Hello, I have the same problem. I already reboot the Xperia and it does not work. I use applications and it does not work either.
