Hi DavidPye,

I'm also using the XA1 at the moment and on the list of available devices, some show the names of the devices while others just show their hexadecimal Bluetooth address, so it might be dependent on the individual device in question. Just wanted to ask you what type of Bluetooth device are you trying to connect to and have you made that device discoverable?

Dr Chris

Hi,

I am having a problem with the list of bluetooth available devices on my Xperia XA1 (G3121) (Android 8.0.0.0)

The list shows what I assume is a hexadecimal address/name for all devices rather than any more user friendly device names.

See the screenshot below - the list continues like this all the way to the bottom.

This is making it very difficult to know which is the device that I want to connect to.

My son has the same phone model and has the same issue.

Any ideas on a solution?

Thanks

David
