Screenshot stopped working

When I try to screenshot I get a warning saying screenshot cannot be captured as a problem occurred. Front and back camera work correctly.

Any ideas?

restart the phone and try again, also, do you get this issue when using an app or all the time? The reason I ask, I think there are some apps that prevent screenshots such as banking apps

I've restarted phone and also turned off and on again. I always close down apps to save my battery. I Was trying to screenshot an image. I've just tried to screenshot the homepage of my phone and click on the warning message that displays at the top but couldn't. I can't swipe down the notification banner.

The outer edge of the touchscreen stopped working a few weeks back. It seems to be a problem with the Xperia A1 🤔

It's now working. I deleted last two apps installed and had a cull on my photo's. Not sure if it was a storage or app issue but its working again 👍😁
