Could you please elaborate in a matter of which type of code you mean? Is it a code for unlocking the network so you could use which operator you want? Or is it a screen lock code that you can't remember?

If it is a code for unlocking the network, do you get any kind of errormessages? Or more exactly, what happens when you are trying to do it?

If it is a screen lock that you can't remember, you will be needed to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This procedure will erase all data on your internal memory, and if you canät remember your code for unlocking the phone you can't backup any data i'm sorry to say.

Please get back to me with more information if needed or just with how it went.

Yes it's the code to unlock so I can use my cellphone provider and when I put in the unlock code it says it's the wrong one

You may need to check with your network carrier service if they can do the task for you. I have experienced this kind of scenario back with my old Xperia M4 Aqua but after calling my carrier texh support, they manage to resolve the issue.

As @Fox32 are saying, you should try to contact your operator regarding this if you get the message that the code is not correct.

Do remember that you have a limited number of tries at unlocking the phone. So do make sure that they get the correct code before typing it in again.
