How do I turn off the notification that sounds when the phone has no signal?

It is annoying as it keeps repeating several times

Why u lost signal? u can try keep pressing the notificacion until show a option

I have this same problem, did you find a cure? it's driving me crazy!

If my signal drops out for ANY reason including putting it into aeroplane mode, or turning the phone off or on, I get repeated (several times) audible notifications.

This is ALWAYS followed by a voicemail icon, which is false as there are no voicemail messages stored.f people leave me a voicemail, I get no notification icon.

I am on Virgin mobile monthly contract, and their customer services have not been of any help and its been happening for over a month now.

I contacted Sony Xperia support this evening 0370 523 7237 and I am awaiting an email with a procedure to try, I will post results here if the email ever arrives!

I am wondering if a factory reset will sort it out, but I use the phone for my business, and cannot afford for things to go wrong (data loss etc)

Hope someone can help.

I have put my phone on airplane and therers no notification nor sound, nothing... dont know about no signal but never see anything u guys say

I also never have this issue... perhaps it is one of your notification settings somewhere?
