MMS Not Working - Incoming or Outgoing

Before I contact sony I thought i'd put a feeler on here.

I'm located in Canada using Freedom Mobile. Have been for 4 yrs and never had this issue.

Got the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra a week ago. Previously I had the Xperia XA1 Ultra.

Issue: When I have wifi on, MMS wont sent nor can I get them. When I turn wifi off, I'm able to send MMS and receive them. And yes I have tried everything. Many phone calls with Freedom. I even got a new one to replace my new phone cause they said the first one was malfunctioning. So thats 2 phones with the same issue. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

Any suggestions?

I don’t know whether this can be related, but you can try Settings > Network & Internet > Data usage > Network restrictions and check if your WiFi network has the restriction enabled
