Screen gets unlocked after locking it while screen is on

Hello to all, i don't know if it is intended but if screen is on (at lockscreen) and if i press the power button (this finger is also recorded for fingerprint unlocking) screen goes off then turns on and unlocks itself, i don't know if it was a deal at 7.1 but it is in 8.0 .

Possibly because you're activating the print read which is overruling the screen off command.

If device is on lockscreen and you press the print reader, the normal expected result would be to use the print reader.

Saying that tho, it is odd how it does do it, like the screen goes off for a second or do, then awakes unlocked...

I think it is like that but i sometimes just want to look at clock, which lockscreen has, or check any important notification when at silence and i have to unlock it then lock it.
