"Still ejecting SD card" message

I keep getting the "still ejecting sd card" everytime i unlock my xperia xa1 plus. Already tried formating the sd card and multiple restart as well as factory reset. Also tried using my sd card to another phone and can confirm it is working properly. My phone is up to date. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

I am having the same problem with my XA1. Everything was fine until last Sunday. Now at random times it is trying to eject the sd card. Restarting the phone gives a few moments respite but then the problem returns.

I have had apps stored on my sd card for many months. This is the first time there has been any problem.

PS is it me or is there ssomethin weird ggoin on with typing in this box? I am not getting the words I typty apeariapp cocorrect (see i did not go back and retype those last words the five or so times I have had to with everything else)

Hi @GrippyGecko,

Just tried using a new sd card. Ita has been 2 days now and haven't got any issue. If it helps, the sd card i had issue with is a sandisk 16 gb class 10. I'm now using a strontium 16 gb class 10 and works perfectly. Not sure if its the brand though.
