Bit of background information: I received my phone last Sunday and it has been working fine. Yesterday morning I woke up and my phone's battery was completely drained (not too surprised) soI charged it up. My phone battery jumped from 0% up to 14% pretty quickly and then when I powered the phone on it had jumped up even more from 14% to 45% in a matter of seconds. The phone then proceeded to charge fully with no issues.

My issue: Last night when I went to bed, my phone was on 69% battery. I put my phone onto airplane mode to prevent notifications during the night and have my stamina mode constantly enabled as well as data saver etc. When I woke up this morning however my phone was on 4%! I am very upset and confused about this as the reason I switched to a new phone to begin with was my iphone's battery left a lot to be desired.

Has anyone else experienced an issue like this? returning it may be an issue as I bought it from a second hand shop. The phone itself is immaculate and I haven't experienced any noticeable issues with it until this happened

I've tested new build for one day without luck. Bluetooth issue still there

In any case I didn't found any release notes of the new software

There are few options there

If the issue can be resolved with an update we should hope in oreo

If the issue is originated by a design or quality issue we can give a try via technical assistance to get a replacement and cross the fingers that would be the last resort

Hi,

I just got a xa1 and I have the same problem, which is quite annoying to have a new phone with a battery that doesntlast as long as my old phone 0_o ... I haven't seen anything to fix this beside disabling bluethoot when not in use, which is annoying with things like fit bit and all. Anyone else as more info?

Thanks

After several checks I reach the conclusion this is not really a drain battery bug but only a bad reporting on the battery statistics

As example just now I have the 45% of remaining battery and the battery usage is reporting Bluetooth consumption of 1543 mah

That condition isn't possible considering also the consumption of others applications because the sum provides a battery capacity greater than 3000 mah

In reality the battery capacity is 2300 mah
