Hello. I'm just new here so please go with me.

I just bought this xperia xa1 ultra dual here in poland. Just after paying, this guys told me that i can only use European simcards in it. I'm a sailor and travel around the world so i need to unlock my phone so I can use any network. Should i root it or is there anything I could do? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Djay92,

I am not aware of any region locks on our handsets, but there may be a network lock.

If it is locked to a network, only the network that it is locked to will be able to unlock it.

Otherwise, you should be able to use it anywhere with any network that supports the same bands as the phone.
