Please test out an original SIM card in your device&amp;nbsp;to rule out that possibility. Note, that testing the punched out SIM card in another device does not rule out a defect, as different devices might react differently to a defect of the SIM card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, check if your device works with another SIM card since your SIM card might be defective.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I had just bought an Xperia xa1 ultra and can't get it to connect to my network I put new sim card in it and still shows no sim card me and my carrier has tried everything to get it to connect but it won't. All help would be very appreciated thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I actually finally got it resolved I done a lot a research and found something silly and tried it and it worked I put a folded piece of paper under sim card to lift it up a little and now it work I appreciate the help&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1074405"&gt;@9696&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Great to hear it's working, however we generally wouldn't suggest putting foreign objects such as paper in the phone as it could cause issues later on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you get the chance I would advise contacting &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/Local+support/pd-p/contact_us" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="13-1"&gt;Local support&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;as it sounds like this is a hardware issue that would need repair&amp;nbsp;&lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.com.mk/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
