Disappearing apps

When I bought the phone I installed met Office app and news on Android app.

They have now disappeared off the phone and when I try to download them again it says downloading and installing but then won't allow me to open them. And they don't appear on the phone.

Anybody experienced this please.

Sorry to hear about this issue

Can you please advise if the applications are still showing within the Apps section of the phone?

Apps > Settings > Apps > Look for the missing apps.

Please let me know.

Ok so solution is go to settings apps find app that is not on launcher uninstall it and then reinstall it from Google Play this works ok.
