I have a Sony Xperia XA Ultra which was purchased somewhere in January 2017.

Within the first month I had to have my speaker ( can't hear conversation) replaced. Now about four weeks ago I was experiencing what's called " ghost touch" syndrome where the touch screen starts functioning without being touched. Took it to the Sony authorized service center & they had to do a factory reset. I was told as well that I can expect my screen to fail soon. Within a few days my screen turned grey with visible lines. I returned to the service center & was told that they will have to replace the screen but as they don't have stock now, I will have to leave my phone behind. I told them to contact me when they have the spare available & I will bring my phone in for repair & this was three weeks ago. I am yet to have my screen replaced. I am still struggling with this blurry screen.

It's rather disappointing that when of out some many smartphone brands, I deliberately choose Sony for it quality & service but end up disappointed. Never expected this from Sony. My phone warranty ends in December 2017. Let's see if I have my issues resolved by then. Bust rest assured, I will Never buy another Sony product not will I recommend it to anyone. I will relate my experience to my family member & friends as well. SONY is no longer associated with Japanese quality or Japanese customers service.

Your once upon a time believer.

Sivashanker
