I recommend that you make sure there is nothing pressing on your volume key when you power on or restart your device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your volume key is broken I recommend that you get in contact with your &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/Local+support/pd-p/contact_us" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="13-1"&gt;Local support&lt;/A&gt; to have your device sent in to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep me posted on how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
