OMN navigational mapping app

HI I have the OMN navigation app on my mobile, I need to download the OS maps to the 64GB storgae card in the phone but the settings in the navigation app requires the full directory address in order to store and access the maps. For the life of me I cant get this to address does anyone know the directory path to type in to access the storage card ?

Hi @Greyman1957, welcome to the community.

Based on the information I currently have available to me the directory path should be /storage/sdcard for the internal storage or /storage/sdcard1 for the external storage.

thanks for the quick reply, unfortunatley this does not work, think it might be a quirk of the omn software so ive put a call out to them. will let you know of outcome.

Try the following paths:

Internal "sdcard": /storage/emulator/0

External sdcard: /storage/0123-4567

I got to these using the Total Commander file manager. I am sure others will work.

I bought an Xperia XA1 Ultra four days ago and have been setting it up since. It appears to me that Sony has really locked down the file system, much more than on other Android 7 phones and tablets. I have been unable to view the root directory of the file system. I can easily view the same on my LG G Pad tablet which is also running Android 7. I even tried viewing in a terminal emulator but get a "permission denied" result when trying to list the root directory.
