I got good news and bad news, double tap to wake up it is not available with this Xperia

BUT

There's an option to tap to sleep

home screen > long press on any empty space > settings > Double tap to sleep

Xa1 dual sim. Double tap to unlock screen

But can you tell me, the xperia ( which dont have the fingerprint sensor) get this feature like xperia XA, XA1, XA ultra, XA1 ultra or any other series?

Double tap to wake device is available in quite a few Xperia's as I once owned a Z2 on 6.0.1 software (which I still think that's the latest build) and that had double tap to wake.

Also, I still own an Xperia X and this has the double tap to wake on 7.1.1 👍

I was thinking to myself as to why this doesn't have support for double tap to wake, and I'd like to point out Battery Care within Settings -> Battery.

I'd like to also point out that BOTH devices have the same build of Battery Care.

I have attached 2 screenshots, slightly off topic but it's out there...Xperia XA1 Ultra (Android 7.0)

Comment to Sony:

I am so wonder why Sony Xperia Z5 dual premium had this double tap to wake and lock but Sony Xperia XZs which has released 2 years later, doesn't have this?

If some one from Sony company read this, please standardize the good features you have and don't make on and off randomly available. If I buy Sony, it is because I am thinking this phone is a last long type of phone unlike my Samsung and worth to spend money for it. Please add those good features. For me I'm very much used to double tap to wake and lock.

I totally agree.

I didn't expect this when I got my XA1 ultra after my Z2.

Please, launch an update to get this feature back.
