My Xperia Ray’s screen goes off and on by itself when it’s on standby mode. Since I ve been a bit upset about the battery life of my Ray, I ve checked the battery use and it says the display is eating up most of the battery juice even when it’s on standby mode (about 50%). I think its because of the screen going on and off in about every 5 minutes or so with the home LED button glowing white. And when it happens, the screen goes on and off about 4 times and then it goes back to sleep again for about 5 minutes and then the same thing goes on and on and on….now, my question is, Is this normal? Is the screen supposed to blink itself along with the home LED button when the phone is on standby mode? If that’s so, why on earth would that be the case? I mean, when I am not using the phone and its on standby mode, the phone is supposed to sleep, so it does not eat up the battery unnecessarily, and its also quite irritating to see the phone screen going on and off by itself while I’m trying to sleep at night! Or do I simply have a buggy phone?

Please Help

     Rossi
